Well i took the motor for rip last night and as I started to reach the end of my stint noticed there was a grinding on the front and the brakes barely worked...nice

so it was looked at today and was told the drivers front disc is on its way out...ok

so was looking at replacing the front discs and pads. Im liking the look of the Brembo discs, but dont think I can stretch to them atm.

Idea's on these?

depends which Mintex pads they are. I've heard that Mintex Extreme are absolute sh!te but the Mintex 1144's are pretty good.

i'm no expert mind!

i had my front brakes upgraded yesterday with Brembo HC discs, Ferodo DS2500 pads and braided lines. I'm currently bedding them in slowly but so far so good - they stop much better than my standard set up did but i haven't deployed the parachutes yet!

I woulnd't bother with the road mintex stuff its not great at all stock is IMO better.
