In Need Of New Car Speakers

Hi, I have a 2008 renault clio and want new speakers for greater sound quality. I recently purchased some [h=1]Infinity Reference 5030cs - http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/spe...ms/5-inch-comp-13cm/infinity-reference-5030cs[/h]but theses did not fit due to the speaker depth being too great and the screw holes did not line up and generally the speakers did not fit.

I was wondering if anyone would be able to recommend some good front speakers and tweeters that will definitely fit for around the £50 mark to replace the existing ones.

The problem i had before was that the original speaker screws, screw in top and bottom and then use clips on the side, and the clips on the side seemed to get in the way of the new speaker screw holes?

IN fairness, unless you're going to start running amps, there's no need to replace the OEM kit. A decent headunit (with a high-pass filter built-in) and a little sub is pretty much all you need to do.

Of course, what people need and what people want are normally light-years apart
