In renos hands now!

  campus sport 1.2 16v
Well what can i say -it all started on sunday morning travelling back home after dropping the missus off at work-the dreaded airbag light and serv light came on[marvellous!] Being slightly concerned to say the least i decided to try and remedy the situation by turning the passenger airbag off and then back on again! Starting the engine back up all the dash lights went out so i thought great -problem solved, but no,later that evening when i drove back to pick the missus up, 20 minutes into driving both bloody lights came back on again and then went off for 10 seconds and then came back on again! So being a regular on here i consulted the forum and tried wiggling both sets of wires under each seat but to no avail!---so into reno it goes in the morning[who also confirmed that its a common problem and that its just the wires that are probably loose] My only saving grace i suppose is that the car is under a year old so still under warrenty though im not holding out for miracles[remember how long it took for my stereo lead to arrive?]-only question is whats gonna stop it happening again once fixed?

Mine does it once every few weeks, just wiggle the birds nest of wires under the passenger seat. There is a way of rectifying it (soldering two of the wires together but I don't know which ones.

Mine does that too - as above, fiddle with your wires :clown:

TIP ;)
I found that the plastic clip that fixes the wire to the base of the passenger seat was broke, (driverside has one too) I secured it tight with some duck tape and it was fine
