In the Dealers....

  Lotus Elise Cup250FE

Ive had my 172 for 6/7 weeks and its making its first visit to the dealers.

Its in for them to have a look at the drivers seatbelt coz it never rewinds properly and Im forever shutting it in the door [:(]

Also asked them to have a look at the engine mounts coz of the noise when accelerating.

See what comes back eh? I made sure I was aware of the mileage (13440)

Well I picked it up earlier.

They replaced the drivers seat belt, so at least that now works properly.

6miles for their test drive.... and they found..... nothing :( So he said "try it and see how you get on"

I turned out of the dealer, booted it and quel surprise, knock, knock, knock.

So I went back and told them, he said "well what do you expect if you drive it like that!" I said, well it is a sports car!

Ive now got to go back and take out an "RTE" to show him.

I had that reply once too.. i had waited 3 weeks for the useless f*kwits to replace my tensioner bearing on my old 172 and it still made the same "high pitched" whining noise as they overtightened it!

They didnt accept anything was wrong so i wasted the looser service desk muppet on the way home... next time i went in he had a right go at me saying i shouldnt drive it so fast.. LMAO - thats why i bought it!! :devilish:

Have come across the odd good RTE. These had both owned a 172 so were knowledgable of the faults!!!
