just went to put them in in this order -

car - INCARTEC adapt - Alpine connection block

jack into alpine and the other end into the incartec adapt

alpine is CDA 9855r model

and the cd player came on, worked fine but no stalk control and no word 'alpine' on dash  not happy, any ideas? anyone used these before??

bmh is spot on. Although I thought the change wasn't made until 2005.

I had the same problem in the Trophy. I purchased the same leads as yourself, and Carudiodirect thought they would work. They didn't, so they updated the site accordingly. It doesn't mention that it works with the canbus headunits in the Clio 2 anymore. It did originally.

You can see the 29-800 on this page: http://www.incartec.co.uk/assets/files/Head-unit Fitting.pdf You'll see the connectors are the same as the one you purchaed.

According to incartec you need the 29-800 and the other lead.

I didn't bother in the end. When I had the car that lead wasn't available at the time so I just left it.

I emailed incartec and they were pretty helpful. I'd either call Car Audio Direct or email incartec just to make sure you get the right items.

i called CAD and they sed that 'maybe' my clio has 2005 wiring, so try the one for that but they dont sell the incartec 29-800 leads so i belive that the others have to have the dash removed? where else sells incartec stuff? do you know? thanks for your help though dude!!!

That's me out of ideas I'm afraid mate. Other than contacting Incartec direct, they have a contact address on the website, and they do reply. I don't know if they only sell to the trade though.

No that one I posted works fine too, they say 2005 but from my experience every 182 is using the canbus system. I haven't seen one that hasn't anyway.
