Indicator problems on mk3 GT

As above really, have a mk3 GT (not very thought about on here I know haha) both back indicators have stopped working completely within a week of each other, I've changed bulbs, checked wiring. Relays and fuses as a last resort, but to no avail, mechanic myself and I'm stumped, anyone got any other ideas?

Control stalk... possibly the red link loom

If its just the back. The rear light connectors are terrible. You might need to tweek the pins.
If you put the hazards on and play with the plug on the lights.
