Induction adaptor plate

I've got a little 1.2 mk2 clio and I've got myself an open induction kit but the damn thing doesn't fit! I know you need an adaptor plate but the only one I can find is the K-tec metal one which is £40+, I don't see why i should shell out 40 quid when something made of plastic would do just as good.

Does anywhere sell the adaptor plates on their own?
