An airbox off an espace v6 would work fine, with an aftermarket panel filter and uprated cold air feed.

Either swap it for the OE set up with a decent panel filter (it is good, but quiet),try to sheild it away from the heat in the engine bay and run some sort of tubing to it from the grille, arch or foglight to get some cooler air into it, or buy something like a Maxogen or V6 airbox.

will the v6 air box still sound decent and give that lovley sound? where can i get one and what do i need to do the job?

thanks for that. thats what i want to do, but i dont want the caf running down front of engine, can it go down we original comes from? they guy says its no loader than standard. how do i make it louder?

It will be loud if you leave the air feed off, but it sort of defeats the object of fitting it.

Forget noise and just aim to get as much cool air from outside the engine bay into your air filter (not easy on the Clio - hence why not many bother). To be honest, you're probably only loosing 1 or 2 bhp with what you've got.
