Induction kit / air filter help??

Hi all! New to this forum and recently just bought a 182 and what fun they are!!!

Wondering what the difference between a air filter and an induction kit is exactly and if anyone can recommend or even sell me a good he, preferably for lower enhancing instead of noise.

I tried the induction kit makes a nice sound but ive swapped it back and put a k & n element in ibstead performs better and actually increased the bhp when i took on a rolling road compared to the inducrion which was less
