Induction Kits?

Do they really increase BHP? cause im thinking on getting a pipercross viper and i've heard it can lose BHP!!??, its the same story with the K&N kits ......so do these kits ONLY increase BHP on lower litre engines?

if you are going to get an induction kit get a inclosed one as open cone style ones like K&N 57I kits just suck in to much warm air and redure power.

For the RS 172/182 the only option is the Maxogen.

For the Vee the piperX Evo seems to be a much better design...

i had a viper on my 182, it looks good but apart from that i didnt really feel much power gain so i put the original air box back on and to be honest it feels alot better imo

without a remap you won't get much if any gain

vipers DO work, i've seen a 13bhp gain with a remap, viper and catback exhaust FACT

i heard they work better with a re-map as u say, but at the end of the day if u want a faster car, buy a faster car lol!!!!
