induction kits

i`ve been lookin at a simota induction kit for my clio 182 and i was just wondering are they any gud for performance? at the moment ive gt a itg panal filter..

itg panel filter will be better power wise, simota kit will give you a better sound

Performance no, sound yes. I'd go for a ph1 airbox or espace v6 box personally.

correct me if im wrong but i thought power wise having an airfilter like simota or maxogen wont yield any noticable gains, but a custom map would maximise the potential by adding more fuel at the end of the rev range.

Airfilter is often referred to as a supporting mod as it releases potential in other mods?
