Induction Question

will be picking my new 172 cup up soon and am ready to get some bits. From looking on here the Maxogen Induction kit seems to be the kiddy but one thing concerns me.. its a foam filter that needs to be oiled. Coming from an evo 8, i was always against them cause the oil worked through the filter and could potentally knacker the air flow meter, is this the case on clios??

From an Evo 8 to a 172 what a comedown lol. I'd say the oil ingress will be minimal. Lordy, come what may , the mill will wear out eventually, whatever the reason. lol

clio doesn't have an airflow meter

but £350 on an airfilter!

R25 V6 airbox is where its at! (cup racer)

i wanted a car i can track without costing the earth and the evo was just too expensive to do that with! mega car tho

there's always air at the throttle body, its just a question of how restrictive the path to the throttle body is

Where's your wee mate, Fred? A lot of his customers are getting anxious.

Jesus Ja.Jack . Don't you ever stop trying to wind people up ? Or do you lead such a sad and meagre existance that you thrive on the attention you crave ??

Fred and BenR are respected members of this community and from all the posts i've read their customer satisfaction is second to none , maybe with the execption of you and your reworked manifold and plenum ;)

I must admit that some of your posts could be classed as amusing and an intersting read ( sometimes ) but then you always have to have a dig about something or someone , whatever floats your boat i suppose .

If you really do have a gripe ? Why don't you start your own thread stating whatever it is that upsets you so much instead of always highjacking somebody else's thread . Maybe you already have and haven't read it ? If you have please forgive me ;)

Sorry for going off topic myself . But i just thought i'd say my piece .
