inferno polishing.

Car  Broken Diesel Megane :(
after washing the car yesterday i noticed in the sun that the paintwork is quite badly swirled.

no deep scratches or the like just some medium to heavy swirling.

what is the best polishes to use on inferno for removal and where can one go about purchasing from?

(i have a pc so will be using polishes with this if possible)

ah great, the two that are out of stock at the minute lol. grrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!

take it, its a case of running over with the intensive then back over with the final finish? yellow cutting pad?

If you get both the final finishes the Final Finish (PO106FF) may clean up the mild ones standalone just with a polishing pad, so see how you go with that first.

Yeh might be ordering frm there as Tim has been slow to get back to me. :(

Rich - have you used any of the other in the Jeffs range, the prime products sound pretty good, and have been very impressed with the spray sealant, leaves a really glossy finish. Cheers for the PM too...

rich - so would you suggest both the final finish polishes then and forget the intensive.

i have the chemical guys heavy duty compound but not used it on my car yet, used it on my uncles landcruiser on saturday and worked ok

No probs , I only have used the AJT and the Carnuba and Acyrilic QD's. Not tried there Prime(s) as they are reformulated Klasse AIO/Carlack 68 which I have loads of already.

I went for both yes.

I use the one Final Finish (PO106FF) as a one stepper on mild marring and use the other one as follow up to Intensive Polish.

Not used any Chemical Guys polishes so can't advise on them.

How did you find their QDs then, 1 out of 1 so far for me in their range!

Nothing special TBH, the Carnuba one is ok, the Acyrlic one the same, I only purchased to use it between layers of the Sealant. The Carnuba one I should have not eben bothered with!

ok so use the PO106FF first and if it needs a bit more step it up to the other final finish?

cheers rich

Always try the mildest approach first. Try the PO106FF and see how it goes, if not you will need to step up to the Intensive Polish and then follow that up with the other Final Finish.

Not glowing reports then! Cheers for the advice anyway

ok guys thanks. will place an order this week then. delivery times ok from them?

also need a QD, but been happy using the clearkote one. any recommendations or is the clearkote one a half decent QD?

There delivery times are normally 1 or 2 days.

Never used that QD before, you should be able to tell yourself if you like it or not. TBH they all do a relatively similar job - as long as they remove dust and marks and leave a nice waxy or glossy finish then that is good!

yeah tbh its better than the megs one i used before so will just stick with it and order some more. ok cool the delivery times are reasonable.

Clearkote Quickshine is a nice QD, I use for final wipe downs and on Glass. During polishing and for bulk use I use Meguiars Final Detail as it is cheap as chips.

Yeh never had any problems from any supplier, even American ones. If only everyone was so reliable... ;)
