Ingrowing wheels

  02 172
Fitted 40mm lowering springs onto my 02 172 yesterday (and to clear up an argument that's been going on for ages no,you don't need spring compressors for a 172 the standard springs have hardly any tension) it looks a lot better it's lower but not that low that I look like I'm "on my way up maccys to put trays under my back wheels" the only thing that bothers me is the wheels sit too far in so my question is what sort of spacers and what size do I need to bring the rims level with the arches?

Is it the camber / alignment that's exaggerating it? I fitted sportlines and konis which resulted in -2.5deg camber on the front wheels after alignment.

So I'll be getting camber bolts and 205 tyres in the not too distant future.

Well I didn't think fitting springs -40mm would alter it that much but I'll check it out thanks, theysat in before but it's more noticable now the arch is nearer the wheel
