inlet removal help needed asap

Just fittin some inlets to a cup with a/c and everything is off but the inlets wont come off its very tight on the left hand side do you have to remove the air con only done this on a cup before and it was simple

you can slide them out with that upper bracket in place (goes to the top on the alternator), but i remove it MUCH easier, they're a t**t to line the inlet upto the head with that bracket in place

its a t**t to do, i reomve the aux belt and the upper alternator bracket, just so much easier than f**king about

I normally find a light tap with a hammer will slide them out with the alternator bracket in place

edit: just realised I've posted from my mrs account! lol

at the very least, slacken the upper aux tensioner bolt and top alternator bolt, should allow it to slide forward enough to get the manifold in and out.

However, I personally prefer the complete disassembly method also. That way you know each and every bit is individually fitted correctly

Cheers for the help guys was doin it for gf's bro steve'o' as i have the bodies now so gave him my inlets, gonna give it a good go next week or two prob end up going the whole hog
