Instability.

  Clio 2.0 RS 172 Ph1
My ph1 is still giving me headaches. I have had new wishbones with brand new oe bottom joints with powerflex bushes. New inner and outer track rod ends and on Friday it goes in for steering rack bushes.
When i brake fairly hard the steering will move (the wheels change direction, seems more on the front left) and i have to straighten it out to keep the car in a straight line. Also when going round a tight right hand bend with a little power on I get a loud Deep sounding THUD THUD THUD which is in a rhythm with the speed of the car. The thud noise had gotten worse since changing the track rod ends, yet the steering feels much more positive.. however there is still some vagueness and like i say braking throws the steering off what feels like around 1/4 of a wheel turn (that's what it takes to correct it)
Driving round a carpark slowly on full lock creates no knocking noise in either direction, I am not ruling out driveshaft but the normal symptoms of a duff shaft are not present and all the joints are in tact and not leaking.

Any ideas?

I could try and film the knocking.
