Insurance are still raping me.

Car  Mondeo STTDCI
Last year...£780.

This year £861.

f**k sake. 7 year NCB, the car is a year older and they want more. f**king uninsured drivers f**k me off.

how old are you?!?! this on a ford focus????

i only pay £400 on my 172 with liverpool postcode and 6 pts

Mine is £900 3 points 21 years old 2 years ncb 182 05 plate. Your getting ripped off. Try flux or bell.

Dont try flux, they usually use NIG policies which is royal bank of scotland, So its the same staff that deal with direct line churchill n what not

generally not very good, used to work for them!
I would never advise anyone to insure with one of the RBS companies

Your renewal quote probably won't be competitive as they try it on and hope you don't look elsewhere.

Shop around man, I'm sure you'll get it cheaper than that

I have tried Privilege who have been cheap for me in the past and they want over £1k.

Its because I practically live in East London.

lol im with flux 760 for 172 21yrs 3yrs ncb. thats exhaust systme and alloys declared.

I have heard flux can be bad but all i could afford. As long as i'm not illegal on the roads i dont care who im with

That is high though i pay £780 on a 53 plate 172. 22Y/O 2 years NCB and an accident 1 year ago (50/50) - With elephant.

lol, im paying £2,250
23-24 in October
no ncb as i lost my 5 year ncb last year.
Still think there riping me off.
But will have a 1 years ncb very soon.

Mines been the same tbh, doesn't seem to go down and at 27 with 6 Years NCB on 54 Plate 182 its £600 but I insure mine for business use too.

I am with Flux £714 fully comp on the Trophy, I have heard good and bad things about them but at the end of the day I have a legally binding document that states I am fully insured.

Yeah thats true, but working on the claims side of things i see all the time the loop holes their policy has as a way for them not to pay out when things go bad

^^ thats a good price, had problems with NU when I insured with them before with regards to pay out and would never use them again tbh.

I have been there with Insurance companies trying to get out of there agreement.

I know exactly how to overcome the problems. I ended up taking one insurance comp through the small claims court 4 years ago, as they wouldn't pay out on a accident that happend, it was decided by the police that no one was at fault, but the insurance company would not back down. Took them to court and they paid out in full plus compensation and costs for the hire car I had for 4 months.

Not great and I was under a lot of stress, but if I have to go through it again I would.

Thats it though Maz it's only when you need to claim you find out what your insurance is really like!

mine was 400 with elephant, 4 years ncb and im 25, added my mum to the policy as it knocked a few hundred off, low excess too, NU tried to match the quote, got it down to 580, when they sent the details throught hey had put a ridiculous 520 excess on it!

Yup have to say the company i work with now are great for paying at

Its a mutual so were not owned by shareholders So most claims do get paid unless its jst down right daft!

But im not insured with them

Really?? I'm with Privilage now, and they want £500, or £700 with PNC, and I'm the same age as you, live in roughly the same area and have slightly less no claims than you have! Madness! When I was with Elephant last year my renewal was dearer than the previous year too :S

Assuming you live not too far from me then..

I pay 970 something with a years no claims and I'm 23..

With Greenlight, btw

If you live in the ghetto then you deserve to pay more...More crime, more breakin's...I.e It puts the rest of our premiums up as well!
