insurance assessor

jst wundering how likely it is that CIS will send out an insurance assessor to look at my car before i make a claim for the front damage to be sorted out.

i think its going to cost about £1000 to get fixed.

not likely, ive had a few bumps (non-fault) and neither time did an assessor get sent out

what normally happens is after youve got an estimate theyll send an engineer to look at the damage, compare the 2. As long as the estimate is ok hell authorise repairs.

They always send an engineer if repairs are more than a couple of hundred quid. If they dont they can authorise repairs from digital stills which the repairer can send.

hmm, cant see it being an issue. just say the old one corroded and this one was cheaper with a lifetime warranty.
