I wasn't aware of this, but Swiftcover automatically renew your cover every year. Off I went and got covered by eSure, but I'm now also covered by Swiftcover again as it renewed (I never received a letter / email)
Anyhow, I decided to cancel the eSure cover, and having a look at the T&Cs it said I can return my documents within 14 days for a full refund. I did this, and sent it with a covering letter stating I wished to cancel my policy. Today I got a letter asking me to call them, as they are unsure as to why I am cancelling (I haven't been refunded).
Here's my question...if you can cancel within 14 days, do you have to have a valid reason such as being dissatisfied with the cover they are giving you? Just wondering what I need to say when I phone them, and what - if any - legal rights I have if I just want to cancel.
