Insurance Due...

hi all

my insurance is due tomorrow and i was wondering if any one new any cheep insurance companys.

the cheepest i have found is directline @ £625 that's starting a new policy on my own. (been on my mums for the pat 3 years)

21 years old 1.2 2002 clio.

yeah apparently my car isnt modiffied enough for them to insure me. :S and i dont have 1 years no clames

try tesco value insurance was dead cheap for me on my 172, would imagine it would be a hell of a lot cheaper on a 1.2

yeah i had a look at that and it was about £100 cheeper. would you say that was a good insurance then? the tesco value one

ok tesco want £550

do i need to have legal protection?

whatever u do don't use Quinn Direct, they're dead cheap but they buggered my new policy up, so went to the Insurance Ombudsmen about them

yeah cheers wont be using them lol so is any one on tesco value and recomend it so i can buy it and get it out the way

im on tesco been with them for a while, was on for a year with my dynamique now gone with them for my 172 because they have been around 400 quid cheaper than anybody else including greenlight and all the usuals. I would strongly reccomend them to anyone, had to deal with them a few times and they have been very helpful

just going through this myself! what a month to have insurance due!!!

cheapest so far is directline with £577 (172 cup).
23 5yrs pnc (£3000 claim earlier this year) and thats domestic, social, pleasure and commuting 12k a yr!

(gunna try and get it so i can drive others 3rd party etc)

sod it lol im going on 3rd party... im not planning on keepin this car much longer anyway
