Insurance for 2 cars on 1 policy

Does anyone currently insure 2 cars on one policy ???

Had enough having two policys, elephant and churchill who im with, dont do insurance to cover a weekday and weekend cars.....



Any Suggestions -

Bell Direct will insure a second car with the no claims discount mirrored afaik.

Also part of the Admiral/Elephant/Diamond group etc.

Im gonna have to do this until my policy runs out in August - Ill let you know what happens when I ring up the AA.

Just rung them, and they only do temorary insurance on a second car or two policys.

Elephant gave my wife 4 years free no-claims on our 2nd car insured under her name (as she has been insured on my car for those 4 years). So now we had a year claim free she has max no-claims under her own name.

Dont know if theyll do the same thing for 1 person.

Been trying to get short term insurance on my clio as Im selling it.

Bell Direct told me they dont do temp insurance. Least they could offer me was 10 months on a bonus accelerator plan. They wanted almost £700 TPFT up front.

Just tried admiral and got 10 months for £450 TPFT with all modifications declared and 2000 mile limited mileage. Hopefully when I sell Ill be able to get some of that back.

Admiral will quote you online for modifications and you can pay online which is handy.

Well most companies can do 2 policys for each car, but ideally im after just the one.

Going to ring around a few companies to see what they can offer.

Bell Direct are £100 out compaired to last years premium best.

hi northy, im the one who has been texting you about the red 16v you have for sale

believe it or not im having a right problem getting someone to insure me temporarily on the 16v in case i end up buying it and need to drive it back! one said because the clio is a higher group than my current car they wont do it, the other said because of my age and just wanting 14 days cover they wont do it!

im dreading coming to see it on my own because if i want it ive got no way of getting it home!
