insurance for the ’ring

i have now found out i am not covered for the ring by my insurance!!!!!

(highways by the way...)

i have heard there are companies at the ring that cover you whilst you are there....

i have obviously got insurnace to drive in europe and technically the ring is a public road.

so any CS members who have been to the ring.....

WHAT DID YOU DO????

theyre not a very good comp to use, i had real trouble when i had to make a claim with them.

Does it specifically exlude the ring in its terms and conditions?

Would be intrested to know the wording used.

but its a toll road not a racetrack, its governed by local road law so its a road

Im with the same insurers as you (although throught Highway). Last time I went out I got insurance £90 it was from CCI I think.

yes but if it says no ring then it doesnt matter it means your not coverd if your on the ring

competition car insurance will cover you. insuring a £9k car will cost around £135 per day, with excess around £1400 i think. phone them up and ask for details.

Adrain Flux dont insure you although you could argue it in the even tof a crash. I asked about it a few different ways and they said normal insurance doesnt cover it since they know what that one way toll autobahm is better known as.

As far as I am concerned unless they specifically refer to it - then I consider myself insured.

why bother??? even if you do stack it, itll cost you 170euro to be towed off, and they dump you down the road at a local garage anyway

i didnt bother
