Right last Friday i managed to crash my 172.

Since then the car has been deemed an un-economical repair, fair enough, the car itself is 8 years old etc

Right so after speaking to the insurance company and due to the car being a loss they require the spare key, V5,MOT and certificate of insurance, okay dokey i say, ill get that posted out...

The girl also said i should send out any reciepts i have for the car (general maintenance, service history etc) Now ive never heard of them ask this, although she did say it would benefit my claim by backing up being a well cared example.

So i sent away the lot, every receipt old tax disc etc and so on.

I honestly think the only thing i dont have for the car are the fuel receipts.

Will this help my claim, according to glasses guide i should get £4010 (thanks Gally)

Regards.

never heard them ask for receipts before, who are you insured with?

also never accept the first offer, they will pretty much always increase it if you dispute it

My insurance company told me that receipts for services, things bought for the car.. etc. can help as like you said, shows it was well looked after. (wrote off my megane).
Think I got an extra grand from it.
