Now mums car has been written off by engineer this afternoon what happens now? I know i got to pay excess as i was the driver 
but..
the insurance policy on the car is valid until next september. Is this just cancelled and when new car is purchase does a new insurance policy have to be taken out, or is it done just like when the car is changed? ie pay any difference in increased premium for new car??
mums car and all but she has asked me to ask you guys cause easier than trying to ask insurance company as they dont give a straight answer
