I had an accident this morning, went into the car in front of me at a roundabout. There didnt seem to be too much damage on their car (W Reg Ford Escort) but the front bumper on my car has come out a bit and the bonnet has about a 1 inch gap when looking from the side.
Is it best to get them to claim on my insurance or should I try to settle privately??? At the time of the accident they did say that they will calim on my insurance. I just dont know whether it would be worth it due to increased premiums etc. My excess is £470, would this be enough to fix the two cars?
