im now pretty sure im not fitting my bodykit but when i took the policy out i told them its was fitted now ive decided in my wisdom to keep my insurence above bord ive removed it now they said i need to prove this :dead: ive told him ive done this myself as it was a few simple screws but this isnt good enough im asuming a headed letter from either a garage/bodyshop will do

i just cant see someone giving me this letter

Why a letter?

Why not take a pic of the car as standard clearly with your reg in it too, preferably with a film camera, send in the pics and the negatives with pictures of other clios looking exactly the same.

If a letter is a must, just ask a local garage to write a letter saying the car is back to standard. Offer them a tenner if they seem arsey.

Just leave it, no harm in having a mod declared that isn't on tbh. Shouldn't affect insurance at all (asked my dad, insurance manager @ swinton).

Go into renault with a letter saying that your car looks stock etc etc then have one of their sales guys sign and date it, sorted. If need be attach a photo of the car now and get then to sign that also.

didnt ask i wasnt to impressed its not on the car as much as it bugs me i dont fancy another conversation ive tried to inform them as im ment to so

ive a few options
try an get proof in writeing
leave it as its not the end of the world
ring them again explain no ones interested in giving me a letter can i email you a picture of my car
or get shirty with them

They wanted me to do this when i wanted to remove my eibachs however i then just said f-it and kept them. Why cant someone competent do it themselves, grrr.

sorted i emailed them a picture of my car covered in snow an its know been removed from my policy
