Insurance on a valver

Im looking at buying a valver for my second car and so have been looking at insurance quotes.
im 18 just about to turn 19 with pass plus but no years NCB so obviously i was prepared for a high premium.
i however got quoted £1900 on elephant.co.uk whereas everywhere else seems to quote me around £3000, does this seem a little dodgy to any1 else?

plus does any1 know anywhere good to get insurance quotes from.

Not dodgy, but with no NCB, you are classed as a higher risk £1900 sounds about right to me...

Try Admiral, lower the amount of mileage you do, that alone could reduce it by a few hundred...
