Insurance on honda crx del sols

Ok so after seeing brembos up for sale i have been looking into these cars as i really like them and will free up a bit of cash for me.

So his car (1.6 esi) (all mods declared) £1100

A 1.6 VTI (the quicker one if im correct) £900

Am i being silly and missing something?

I'm sure the VTI was the 1.5 version as i use to have the 1.6esi easrly this year.

1.6esi version is the UK model (126Bhp)
1.5VTI is also UK model but unsure on the Bhp

The adverts im looking at on piston heads are saying they have the b16a2 engine which is the biggest of the engines

Yer its the biggest of engines in UK spec

Its the Double Over head cam 16v version (160bhp) and Jap version was 170Bhp

Plenty of power and once the VTEc kicks in around 5000rpm, they dont half shift. I loved the sound on mine once the VTEC kicked in. Its like a mini Turbo, when it kicks in.

Just remember they have 3 seats less. Lol. Anyway, if you want a cheap looking sports car then buy one. People do turn there heads and look at you. You dont see many about on the roads. Parts are quiet cheap and they have bullet proof engines anyway. Only really problem are rust and leaky roof rubbers.
