Insurance - Provisional to full

When people pass, do they HAVE to contact their insurance company if they want their insurance to continue to be valid? Just a few people in my 6th form are having trouble. Cheers

Yes they do...

I was insured on my car with a provisional, so i could go out with my dad to learn.

When i passed i had to rign them up.
They change it over on the system, otherwise it shows as having a Privisional Liciense for yourself.
