Insurance quote for a 172 at 19 (already got one dont want advice!)

After all the threads about this the last few days I thought I may as well have a look how bad it was for me.

I'm 19, 2 years no claims, non fault claim, 3 points SP30, live in a 'D' cateory postcode. Got the quote for an '03 172 worth £5.5k, fully comp in my name.

Cheapest quote was £1768, very reasonable considering my age etc, I was well and truely shocked! Seems like a good price, and if I could afford it then I'd do it to be honest, god damn mortgage .

Although I could pay it all off and buy the car outright, I'm not gonna!

I got a quote of £1500 odds with Bell, same age but without the points.
