right then ive been on my mums policy for a year with cis, and i am due a renwel, they still want over a £1000 for me to be on it, and im not even making anyway with my own no claims. im driving a 1.4 16v, group 5 i believe, have been driving for about 2.5 years, and wana start my own policy up, tried tesco who want £1500! anyone know anywhere else good to try?

Try Admiral, Tesco etc.

They normally have a good rep for being lower price.

how old are u, any crashes or points??


to be honest youd be better off going to admiral or elephant

being named driver and naming 2 older females with fullno claims as 2nd drivers

thats what i did, 20 yrs old, own policy on group 11 insurance car, £500 with admiral, thats with limited mileage of ahem 5000 a year

norwich union, got same car as u, £900 for 1st year (20 yr and just got licence, no no claims for fully comp on a 2yr old clio) my renewal is a mere £430. RESULT!
