Insurance when not my fault

Feeling quite gutted at the moment as some women has gone into the back of me while my car was parked. I came to my car after work and my car has dented bumper and boot and it went into the car infront and my grill, bumper and i think bonnet are damaged!!!!

Anyway the persons car that was infront of mine doesnt seem to have much damage and he witnessed it as did a couple of other people. Police were called and i have a police incident number and the women admited it was her fault and has left her insurance details to me and the car i went into.

I'm worried my car may be a write off. I've called my insurance letting them know what happened but they calling me back tomorrow morning. I'll try get pics tomorrow in some light.

All this because the woman has an automatic and she hit the accelerator instead of the brake not happy!

Think this will be a pain in the arse to resolve ?

I had the same thing happen to me in my vxr in 2008, they actually sorted it out very quickly, think it was a about a week max and my car was in getting repaired, the thing they will do first is send out someone to assess the damage and they go from there

that sounds good. i just hope they wont write it off. it drove fine when i took it home but you never know

Just wait and see what they say when they come and inspect your car, if in doubt of a write off bung him a couple of quid he might change his mind
