Who would you say is personally the best insurer to insure a 23 year old (1 year ncb) on a 172 Ph1?

Heard Brentacre are good, and heard Aviva are also good, but who would you recommend?

After me comparing insurance this even for when i turn 19 on a 172 i would recommend Elephant

When I was that age it was always Elephant or Admiral for me, Im 29 now and Chaucer Direct have come up with a blinding offer on my renewal this time on my 182 Also Greenlight on here are supposed to be very good.......

They are indeed. Easy to merge from Elephant to the multi-car deal with Admiral. Knocked a good chunk off last renewal for me...

I'd definitely recommend Brentacre, gave me a better price than anyone else. Aviva won't even insure me... god knows why, I'm 26 with 5 years no claims.

I would recommend moneysupermarket.com - I've got 3 years no claims and 22... I paid £580 but as of my age I do have an extra voluntary excess of £150. I'm insured with Admiral.

Through HIC I got;

Highway - Hot Hatch Scheme - £1783. (Didn't even ask how long I've been driving though?)

Genuinely worth ringing though mate, i asked them ring me on there website ! , i went on confused and started at £940 odd and after a bit of they can do this price etc got it for that !! adrian flux wanted £1150 for the same cover same mods :/
