I have just got a Clio 172 (yesterday) and think it is an absolutely stonking car. My insurance is up for renewal next month, and I dont want to spend loads, so I wondered is there anyone who specialises in 172s or if any insurer is just stupidly cheap?

Im only 21 and was 20 when I got mine... TESCO only wanted £1080 fully comp... also try Adrian Flux and Sainsburys

No photos yet as only just got the car. Its a silver one, only 11,000 miles so its pretty mint. Love it though. Top ride.



Reckon I might try Tescos anall as Im only 22 myself and everybody is looking to sting me.

Tesco or esure (esure has age limit not sure what it is and u must have had no claims for 4 or more years)

i paid 500 for my 172 and that was the cheapest i tried elephant and they were about 100 dearer

Is your car kept off the road? and do you live in whats classed as a high risk postcode area?

that might be it its off road (driveway) but not a too bad areaoh and i forgot i had a claim 2 yrs ago which i declared DOH DOH DOH !

Ive always found elephant to be very competitive, they were under 700 for both of my TTs and the same as the Clio for the Cupra.

I will give them a try next year as the claim will be over 3 ysr old then ( thats if i dont claim in the meantime !)
