Insurers who include track days?

Can anyone recommend any insurers who will include track days as part of the normal policy? I have done loads of track days in the past, but these were all in Lotus or Caterham's as a second car, so were on specialist limited miles policies.

The RS Clio 200 is now my only car and I would like to take it on track in 2010 and my annual renewal is due in January.

I don't think they do - you have to buy 'day' insurance from experience unless it's a specialist (read expensive!) policy.

I think there are some. I think I remember Jay (Burp) telling me that his policy covers trackdays too, can't remember who it was with though

No idea. Won't be using it till the weather gets better

Some insurers will add this on as a 'bolt on' to your road policy but quite often the track cover proivded is sub-standard, eg has lots of restrictions, high excesses etc.. it seems a great selling point but when you read the small print it is not as good as you think. You are best off taking out a track day policy on the day with a company like www.moris.co.uk
