Not really the camera imo (if anything a pro camera will highlight any areas of weakness in a photographer), but more the sheer volume of stunning locations he has access to and visits on a regular basis. I mean just look at his "This Month" set, I've not been to that many places in my entire lifetime!

i think most of his landscapes use various filters. He's just upgraded to a D300. i'm so not jealous.

IMO regardless what people have said above the pictures these guys take are awesome, and far beyond the level of people on this forum. Also you have to have taken a decent photo in the first place. Crap in = crap out IMO

For technical the two links too moosehd and darien chin there lighting is insane.
