I had a mess about with one in the nova a while back and the nova was ever so slightly quicker.
I'm sure a number of us can be ring fenced by that stereotype. On the flip-side, what sort of image do you portray driving a 15 year old Vauxhall that scrapes the tarmac and spits flames?Originally Posted by CraigGreen

Lusty is giving us all a bad name, glad I sold it when I did!

for once a fairly balanced thread i thought.
i reckon it would be tight
The sad fact is that a Nova XE would have the legs on a 1*2. I do love them but they handle like a 'tard.lol @

What I meant was, one is a nice, reliable, good looking modern car with lots of poke and really great handling. Not to mention electrics, comfort and all the rest.

I hate vauxhalls theyre poo, my missus works there and all i ever hear is how good the vxr's are and i should test drive a vxr astra. I would rather stick a fork in my eye.
Power in FWD doesn't necessarily mean spin, spin, spin anymore...
There's aspects of the VXR range that I absolutely adore, but then there's the exhaust and stupid fish gills that make me reach for that candle/fork/finger...
