Current flows in opposite directions. LED's only work one way.
You can:
Choose whether you want it on doors or manual
Solder another LED in next to it, the other way round
or use a bridge rectifier.

Mines fine with a normal led in there, works whatever way round it is.
It depends whether you have the maplight version or not. The maplight version should work both ways, the festoon/non map light version doesn't.

Ah that's weird, pretty sure all cups have the normal big cluster of a light, no map light. I've got a festoon and it works both ways lol
Its the non map light version i thought about fittin that one will it fit
Yeah, I fitted the map light version to mine a while back.
Nope, it's normal. If it was a normal bulb in there you'd never know that current was flowing.

Yeah mine stays on dim aswell unless its in the off position
Do you need the whole roof panel with the light or will just the light fitting fit mine
