interior light problem?

I'm having an interior roof light problem with my car.

I took the clear plastic cover which covers the light and checked the bulb to see which one it is to order a new white bulb for it so its nice and bright. when I clicked it all back in and checked to see if it worked, it didn't?! I dont understand why, all i did was take a plastic cover off and put it back on? anyone have an idea why it would all of a sudden stop working as it worked fine before??

Did you take the little bulb out?? You can actually put them in the wrong way.

-Remove plastic bit again
-Take out bulb and rotate 180degrees
-Test before you put it all back in
