Interior light wiring/amps

Wanting to use the interior light (by the rear view) to power a light on my cage. So will need to run some additional wiring through the car - I want to keep it working with the doors opening and the OE switch.

Electronics isn't something I'm too clued up on, so...Question being what rating of wire will I need? 14A or bigger New light is an LED based one.
