if you are going to go for lighting, i'd personally recommend cathodes. a lot smaller than neons, and easier to fit / hide.

another trick, if you've got perspex, get is engraved and stick a light below this - it looks awesome.

tbh Im gonna be removing the screen setup and the foot well crapons from mine as soon as possible anyway, never use the damn things.
Yeah was a doddle to fit!
Gotta get hold of a new centre console thing because I cut into mine to fit the screen
