Interior lights not working

My phase1 172 has an issue. None of the interior lights come on, or the map light, or boot light.
All fuses are good, the door open indicator lights up when all doors including boot are opened.
all fuses in the box are good too.
anyone got any ideas cos its bugging me now!

Well if no ones got any ideas then I best start pulling wires out & checking I guess...

have you checked them with a volt meter, start from the passenger side and work your way around. how the hell wires can get severed that dont move i dont know tho :/

Look under the dashboard passenger side, you will see a load of cables. Make sure these are all connected.

Yep checked with a voltmeter - no 12v to roof unit, lights or boot light.
But obviously switches are ok as the door open sign lights up when both doors or boot is open.
I have tried to re-seat all the cable under dashboard, still no luck
Not the end of the world, but annoying none the less!
Might have to beep out the wires from the fuse box back to each light with a meter next...

sillly answer maybe, but... have you checked the bulbs lol?

and does ur drivers dash display? or is it just the other interior lights

Der yes all bulbs good!
Dash works & illuminates, just interior lights that don't

does the radio come on, last time my lights were out im sure it was the radio fuse and radio didnt come on either, having said that you said you checked fuses. hmmmm weird s**t dude!

Yep radio works, not done any more investigation, I may tomorrow if time
