interior lights

Bit of a numpty question but I've just got a 200 and the interior roof mounted lights don't come on when I open the doors Is there a way to sort this?

Are they switched off?

I think they must be - I can turn them on manually - so is there a switch setting where they will then turn on automatically?

Three switches on the light cluster, the middle switch has an off/auto/on position iirc. Auto should be middle. Also worth noting the door switch might be faulty. Have you tried seeing if they come on with the passenger door open?
