Interior Mirror

Took off my interior mirror to give it a quick paint, was a bit....grey, and now i can't get it back on again, the bit thats attached to the windscreen is still on, but the bit that attached that bit to the mirror came off, and i can't see how you would get it back on.

So i need your help.

Ok, think this needs clearing up a bit, the whole mirror system is in 3 peices, the one bit attched to the screen, the bit with the ball on it, and the mirror, can get the mirror back onto the ball (i think), but i cannot get the bit with the ball on it back onto the bit thats on the screen.

Hope thats a bit clearer.
