Interior Paint

Car  "Navy" N17 TWO
I am looking to paint parts of my interior plastic trim, and intend to give it a try myself (something to work-on in the shed :))

I'm new to primer, laquer etc so not sure how to go about this...

What would I need?
What process works best?

Many thanks
Trev

When i did my plastics i used:

Acid 8 primer - Allows the paint to really stick to the plastic
normal plastic primer
colour paint
laquer

for hard plastic trime etc normal plastic primer will be fine however for the rubberised areas you'll need a proper vinyl spray iirc

i'd just go to halfrauds tbh not worth the postage and packaging to get it anywhere else. If its a metallic colour you'll need to laquer
