interior plastics...and a few other bits

on my ph1 i have light grey interior plastics

these seem to be engrained with dirt, obviously i want to clean this dirt away

anyone know a safe yet aggressive cleaner that will do this please?...

the roof lining also has some dirt in it, anybody know some good shampoos for this?

and the carpet seems to be engrained with sand and other particles of dirt, short of painstakingly going at it with the hoover for hours anybody have any better ideas?

Autoglym interior shampoo should sort it . Failing the Meguiars all purpose cleaner should shift it .

Autoglym Interior shampoo for the roof and carpet.

I used Poorboys Natural Look Dressing on a Megs triple detail brush for detailed bits inside worked well for me and gives a good finish too, don't know if the dressing will be agressive for what your using it for though.

Tell you what i have tried is MER Plastic and vinyl cleaner, it's cheap too, smells nasty but it's bloody good! It was in the cupboard at home! Prob about 20yrs old! lol

Would not use Megs APC that strong I only Use it 4:1 on wheels.

10:1 will be find inside. I would probably go for Autoglym Interior Cleaner on everything then dress the plastics with Poorboys Natural Look.

on my pug expert van they have a similar colour/texture lower dash as the ph1 172.... i got AG engine and machine cleaner on a damp microfibre cloth... and used the end of my finger through it and rubber it and it came up like new....

For the interior plastics I use fairy liquid mixed with water, then a good scrub with a cloth works a treat. No need to waste money on these fancy cleaners IMO

Problem with fairy liquid is it dries out plastics, would not say there is anything really fancy about a bottle or Autoglym Interior Cleaner which can be used on most things in the interior.
