It is out now I think on windows update - I've got the full version installed

Well I have the evalution SP1 version and it hasnt worked for me. It comes up with an error saying doesnt work with current service pack....

Im an Opera user but I have to us IE at work for lots of MS related stuff so hopefully it will be better...

I havent no, i installed it a month or 2 ago. It should be out on windows update as I know a number of people have got it from there

Does anyone else use safari on windows? i downloaded it because i had problems with firefox, and i prefer it to firefox (when it was working). On my laptop its faster than firefox and IE, and the favourites bar across the top of the page looks alot better than on IE imo

i downloaded it...dont like it. some pics on here are not showing up right, and i have to click the page before using the scroll pad to scroll down. its slow as well.

yeah not worth it. running mine on IE7 emulation. It did seem alot slower for some reason as well,,, gonna find the unistall button.

In Vista: Control panel>programs and features then click on "View Installed Updates" click on Internet Explorer 8 then unistall.

It's RUBBISH! Just uninstalled it. Had enough of beta testing sh1te for MS.

yep! keeps crashing on me! and pages arent being displayed correctly.. does anyone know how to roll back to IE7 when using Windows XP Pro?

Installed it this morning, has some potential but as has been highlighted above it has a few bugs that need work. (It is Beta 1 remember, their first general public trial). Removed it. However XP SP3 RC2 is very good and I can imagine close to the real deal.

i found that when you unistall its does not always uninstall everythink it installs and can mess up old versions.

if you restore it removes its 100%

I don't know why "normal" users would want to download a beta though. Stick with fully supported versions unless there's something specific you need it for!

theres still ways that IE and FF read CSS differently though, like margin and padding issue's
