I got the error message 3 times when 'backing up' the iphone but ive now got past that it it now says its restoring the phone and says 'restore in progress' on my iphone. This bit is taking the longest for me, been going for 40 mins so far.

I've downloaded the update software or both iPhone 4 and iPad 2 on iTunes and have tried a few times to update the iPad. Decided it's probably best to leave it for the time being and try tomorrow when it aint as busy.

Im downloading update now, I've been looking through the "200" new features and I'm excited for this update!! I'm gonna read the online training guide for IOS 5 at some point to see if theres any little hidden features!

Double click the home button when locked mate. It'll bring up the iPod bar and the camera in the bottom right.

I downloaded it last night and just tried to install it on my iPhone 4, when it prepares the phone for backing up I get a message saying there is not enough space on my laptop to back up all the media on my phone and data will be lost, fook that! So that means I can't update now?! Help!

Still unable to update iPad. iTunes said that it can't use the software that iTunes took 7 hours to download yesterday as my device isn't correct for it. Now I can't redownload the software. Apple updates are gash. Why can't they just make it simple!

i have 4.5Gb free on my main HDD (SSD). iTunes needs 10gb to backup my phone before it will do the update, and you cant change the backup location.

another f**king reason that iTunes is the biggest pile of s**t known to man.
