iPad updates and new iPhone 7 colour?

since when did apple do this sort of stuff without a proper announcement?

i just found out from work, but the iPad air is no more, its now just called the iPad, apparently its a similar form factor to the older iPad too, thicker, so cases won't fit from the air, uses the new A9 chip, more storage etc. Also i have been told that it doesn't have the same anti-reflective screen?????

Oh and they've launched a bright red iPhone 7........

Happened to be window shopping for a MBP earlier and saw that red iphone thing.

The fan boy in me, went crazy. I quickly snapped out of it.

I've never known them do this before, usually like to have mass hype and build up for their new products.

You were impressed with the HP touchpad moons ago. I was just wondering if you still have it? Mine gave up charging about 3 months of ownership.

lol, funny you should mention that, i havent used it for AGES, then was clearing stuff out the other day and came across it (not like that), and decided to charge it to see if it was still any good, well it came on momentarily, then died and won't charge now!

The iPad got slammed for being worse than what was already out. Very dated for a new product.

Red only worked if it was mixed with black front etc but that wouldn't have gone with the aids angle.

lol, there is a surprise. Sounds like every other one. At least they were all manufactured to the same high standard.

I think if Apple did a keynote based on the recent refreshes they'd be labelled jokers.

I'm expecting significant upgrades come Sept (Watch, iMac, iPhone)
