iPhone 3g fault

has anyone had a problem with their 3g iphone where it wont turn on?

mine done it on friday and i have tried everything to get it sorted and apple want £140 to fix it which is extorsionate tbh

does anyone know how to sort the problem without sending it to apple?

Have you tried connecting it to PC and restoring through iTunes?
Might do it, assuming iTunes recognises it's connected.

na it doesnt switch on at all, just plugged it into the usb lead and nothing happened, i have just opened itunes and it doesnt recognise it

Charge it?

Plug it into the mains and leave it for a few hours.

I hate when th ebattery runs out that it takes about 15 minutes to get enough charge back in to even switch on!

Did up try and update it? Mine bricks it's self whenever i try and update it. Going back to 02 again on tuesday.

It doesn't need to go anywhere. You can easily fix it yourself.

I told you how to do it last time but you didn't listen..
